VP of Student Outreach

Hello Everyone!

My name is Adrian Santiago, and I have the honor and privilege of serving as your ASB Vice President for Student Outreach. My responsibilities include assisting with the orientation of the freshmen class and transfer students to the campus. Help students find the path, purpose, and passion while they are at Independence through clubs and extracurricular programs. As well as serve the liaison between the ASB Cabinet to the entire student body.

Aside from my role in ASB, I concurrently serve as the Lead Coordinator for the Honorary Eagle Program, Independence’s very own orientation crew! We are a team of almost 300 mentor leaders who serve our freshmen class and transfer students and help them with their transition to Independence. We are in our first year since reinventing this program and look forward to making new connections because of it!

In my free time, I love to bake and cook in the culinary creations in the kitchen! (I have been cooking since a young age! #Hellaculinary). I also have an interest in photography and graphic design. I also love to spend time with my family, especially my two younger sisters, or attend my youth ministry on the weekend! My other leadership experience includes class president, d4yac vice-chair, associate yearbook editor, and youth ministry leader.

Here’s to academically successful and spirited year, Sixers!

With gratitude,
